# Microsoft Funded High School - anyone read Jennifer Government?

I'm aware that there's a few schools in the states which are already basically [sponsored by corporations](http://www.essentialaction.org/spotlight/CokeSchool.html) but this is quite sad...Anyway, have a read of [Jennifer Government](http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0349115982/ref=sr_aps_books_1_1/202-1355532-9901452) by [Max Barry](http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=books-uk&amp;field-author=Barry%2C%20Max/202-1355532-9901452) if you want to get a feel for the way things may be going. It's basically a story of what can happen if corporations become more powerful than governments (so, your kids get names like Kate MacDonalds and John Hasbro etc...)
