# Interesting little thing about AWStats from Brian Desmond

I currently use a batch job with [analog](http://www.analog.cx/) for the stats for this site, but it isn't perfect (I like to see a list of visitors in chronological order for instance, which analog doesn't provide...). [Brian Desmond](http://weblogs.asp.net/BDesmond) has published a [handy little article](http://weblogs.asp.net/BDesmond/posts/26801.aspx) on the set up of [AWStats](http://awstats.sourceforge.net/) on a 2003 server...very interesting - will be trying this tonight...
