I linked to the other two...might as well think to [this one](http://www.artima.com/intv/simplexityP.html). It is another really interesting article and provides further insight into the reasons for some of the decisions taken in the design of C# by a guy who is probably the finest language designer on the planet...(I still love [Delphi](http://www.borland.com/delphi/), which he also designed!)
