# Amazingly interesting project by Steve Tibbett - read RSS feeds in any Newsreader!

Just noticed on [Scott W's](http://scottwater.com/blog) site, hidden in one of the [comments](http://scottwater.com/blog/posts/9981.aspx) is a link to a project called [Syndicache](http://www.gotdotnet.com/Community/Workspaces/Workspace.aspx?id=937b67a8-123d-4e11-ae71-a9d67aec8447), this is a stunningly interesting idea. What this seems to provide is a method of using NNTP as a central aggregator for RSS feeds, have a look [here](https://web.archive.org/web/news:food.dhs.org/) for an example. It has always struck me how similar news aggregators like [FeedDemon](http://www.bradsoft.com/feeddemon/index.asp) are to news readers, this project seems like a logical step, utilising a widely accepted infrastructure for the consumption and propogation of feeds.

Now we just need a reader capable of displaying the results nicely...which [Steve Tibbett](http://www.stevex.org/rainbow/default.aspx)seems to be working on as well...could be worth watching!
