[Find it here](http://weblogs.asp.net/CFranklin/posts/43355.aspx), I posted a comment about compressing ViewState - I'm really surprised that no-one seems to have done this yet - seems to be the most obvious thing to compress in a page and should have pretty good compression ratios - I may try this again myself...keep you posted :-)
